Many people feel like we are living in a time where life’s challenges seem insurmountable. They can feel like they don’t have the tools to deal with daily life and relationships. And they feel uncertain about seeking out help – because asking for help requires vulnerability. That’s why I believe that finding a therapist you can trust is so important. It is my goal to create a space in therapy where you can build strength and resilience. I work to give you the tools to deal with your concerns, root out patterns that are detrimental, and help you accomplish your goals in life and relationships.

I grew up in a family where counseling was not normal – people thought therapists were weird and looked down on everything that had to do with therapy. And I experienced first hand that when you try to go it alone, you can end up feeling isolated and embarrassed – afraid to ask for help. That’s what launched me on my own journey to counseling.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University - and for the past 15 years, I have been serving as a formal mentor for couples and parents at my church. I am certified in SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich couple assessments tools. It is my passion to work with you whether you’re seeking individual, couples, or family counseling – to help enrich you life by building a trusting relationship together, and collaborating with you to accomplish your goals.
